Event Branding & Graphics
I developed and proposed concepts, and am now designing the graphics, for the Women Communicators of Austin Banner Brunch, an annual event where awards and scholarships are given. Cindy Friedman is providing creative direction. The banner on the left demonstrates our design concept, "be curiouser", with collaged elements (original illustrations done by me, along with some Photoshopped vintage illustrations) from the mad hatter tea party from Alice in Wonderland. The two banners on the right are two other visual concepts we were considering.
Poster Concept
As part of a practicum at Austin Community College, I worked with a team of other students to design a poster for the ACC farmstand. I came up with the concept and initial sketches, and we all took turns art directing, designing, and incorporating feedback. (Core team: Pia Harden, Kodylynn Crosoriol, Elizabeth Crawford.) Our concept, "Grow with us", revolved around the fact that the ACC farmstand is student-run and members of the community can not only buy fresh local vegetables, but also help out on the farm.
Garden Logo, Merch, and Signs
For the Patterson Park Community Garden, I’ve designed a logo, merch, and signs (which are still waiting to be printed!)
